That month flew by!
We drove to Utah for a short 4th of July vacation. It was awesome to see my family, including many cousins I haven't seen for years! I also got to fill my shopping void - Deseret Book, Seagull Book, DI, Tai Pan Trading, etc... It was so wonderful to go to the types of stores that we don't have anywhere within a days drive. We drove out with Gizmo so we could drive back with a piano, giant clock, and lots of shopping goodies! It is SOOO nice to have a piano. I've gotten to play it everyday since coming back and I'm starting to remember some of my old competition pieces. Thanks for passing the piano down early Mom! Along with the piano I also brought home things for my mantel. It's finally decorated and I Love it because it makes the room seem "done". Now we just need Mark's entertainment center to get stained for the room to really be finished (Yes, it's still not done. No, we don't talk about it anymore).
Since coming home we've been working, working, and working. My babysitting job keeps me busy and when the weather is like today (104 & humid) I am pretty much drained by the time I get home. Mark comes home and works on either the entertainment center or computer for a few hours before bed while I do a bunch of random things. On Saturday we repair the damage weeds do to our yard during the week and then take it easy in the evening. Sunday is completely our day of rest.
While staying busy is good for us, it doesn't leave us much to report on. Sorry. When something else exciting happens I promise I'll update you!
