Many things around here are close to being finished. Unfortunately though - they're not. Isn't that how it always seems to be? They are all great projects and many of them needed to be started before it gets too hot outside. I wish Walmart had a spring break so Mark could stay home and help me with the things I can't do on my own. We're busy every weekend and I stay busy during the week, but we just can't seem to get all of one project finished before we're ready for a new one!
The shelter is here, but not in the ground (update: now in the ground, but the cement isn't poured over the top yet).

The bathroom is painted, but missing floorboards and hardware (that stuff is being spray painted silver).

Even nature at our house isn't quite finishing its projects. Two Iris are blooming, but not the whole fence line.

The grass is cut, but not trimmed.

The new fertility clinic has my doctor's referral and I've completed their paperwork, but they don't have the Duke records yet.

Mark's entertainment center is sanded, but not stained.

In all fairness he hasn't been able to work on it for the past three weeks. He could have gotten it finished if it weren't assembled on one side of the garage and covered with plastic to protect it from the dirt from the storm shelter.
The unwanted flowerbeds along the driveway are removed, but not seeded with grass.

The flowerbed that we're turning into a grill patio is demolished, but not rebuilt.

At least the guest bedroom is ready to go. Hopefully at least some of the other projects can get finished before Susan and David (Mark's mother and step-father) come into town a week from today. YAY!!!!

LOVE this post. It is my life (though on a much smaller scale...dishes half done, laundry half done, serving dinner half cooked...)
Thanks for the pictures. I want to come and TOUR your new house.
Loves.
My GOODNESS you keep busy girl! Everything looks so nice, even though it may be unfinished. You did such a nice job painting that bathroom as well and the color is fantastic! It's so fun getting a house all set up. Is it me or does it seem like there is always a project to be done?
SUPERWOMAN!
