Walmart Home Office (at the Saturday Morning Meeting w/ Tim Tebow & Elmo)
and Eureka Springs.
Above: Mark, David, and Susan "hiking" just outside of town.
Below: I'm drinking from the Onyx Spring. Maybe now all my ailments will be cured, but only if I don't get sick. We ignored the "unsafe water" signs!
Hopefully we didn't bore his parents too badly and they will return again!
I mentioned in the last post we were in the middle of a lot of projects. I was hoping that they would get done before the Elzey's came into town. Some of that dream came true!
The bathroom is done! The walls, knobs, lights, vanities, towels, rugs, and everything got finished and cleaned the afternoon before Susan and David flew in. I pretty much LOVE it!

The storm shelter got put into the ground too. I like the feeling that if a tornado came right on top of us we would still be safe in our sunken steel box. I have pictures of the whole process I will post sometime in the future. Now I need to get food, water, flashlights and a few other emergency preparedness things inside! We've become quite popular in the neighborhood and I think about 5 families have mentioned coming here for the next big storm. I'm thinking we may have to start selling seats (only half joking).

Even though his parents were here both Mark and I spent a few hours in the backyard on Saturday. Mark built a beautiful little deck for his grill and BBQ next to our patio which opened up a lot more space for our fire table and chairs.

Before his parents came into town he planted 7 trees. The back yard is feeling more and more like a little oasis now!
Did you notice that even mother nature pitched in with my Iris? So Beautiful!

Mark and Jill's house is beautiful! And we weren't bored. It was fun!
Susan said they had a great time. They came to see the family (all three of you), not Bentonville. Susan said she can see that you are both happy there.
Wow, y'all are really good homeowners! We owned a house for 3 years (well, actually we still own it) and never got half the things done on our "list." Way to go, it looks great!
