After the Snow comes the Rain

A week or two after the snow came the rain.  The kids loved stomping in the puddles almost as much as they did playing with the snow. 

Spring is beautiful here at the base of the Ozarks.  We've loved going to our favorite parks again!  

In other, no child news - which doesn't happen very often, we were invited to a birthday gala last month.  Formal attire required.  We had a photographer take pictures, then rode in a limo to Fayetteville for a fancy dinner and tickets to Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat.  On the way home we sipped Martinelli's and laughed at all the good times we'd had pretending to be fancy and young.  It felt like Prom all over again, except back then we were pretending to be old.  

This time I had a much better date though!
