Rachel Can Walk Too!

Rachel has figured out the whole walking thing too.  She doesn't seem to like it much and it takes lots of encouragement and clapping, but she'll do it every once in a while. 

Mostly she freaks herself out.  She does lots of standing on her own and loves cruising on furniture, so she has all of the skills and knows how to put them together.  She just has to work up the courage to walk each time and she chickens out more often than not.

Every Saturday Mark gets to sleep in (I sleep in on Sunday) so the twins and I go out and about before morning nap time.  Last weekend we went to our city's Farmer's Market, got breakfast at a food truck, and went to the splash park.  The internet says the park doesn't open until 9 am, but I've noticed the water turning on just before 8 am on Saturday mornings.  I figured it wouldn't bother anybody if I let them play for a bit before big kids came.  They LOVED it!
