Halloween 2013

We've successfully pulled off our first Halloween with kids!  Since the world is a much happier place when Dean has his binky, I decided to plan costumes around that fact.  Dean has a couple cute mustache pacifiers.  One is small and black and looks Italian.  So Dean became Luigi and Rachel became Princess Peach.

I'd like to say that I was crafty enough to make their costumes.  Alas I'm not.  I bought Rachel's wig, and made the hats, but my amazing friend AJ created Rachel's dress.  I simply found a picture of a similar dress and in an afternoon she had recreate it and even improved it so it would look better. She's great and the dress was absolutely perfect!

Here's a true to character picture.   I find it funny that somehow we caught a wink from Rachel during our photo shoot.

There they are.  My sweet babies all dressed up for their first Halloween.

We were in Utah for Halloween so we visited their Great-Grandma Jennings who has just as much fun dressing up for the holiday as kids do. This year she was the most perfect witch.
She even had a mysterious black cat come to her door as we were leaving.

The reason we were in Utah for Halloween was because my brother got home from his 2 year LDS Mission in California.  He saw the twins for the first time at the airport.

They loved all the attention they got from their grandparents and uncles.
