Last week my aunt Dawn and cousin Kiera came out to help us. I always forget how much easier it is taking care of these two with another person or two at home to lend a hand. It's so much nicer! By about day 2 Dean had decided that Kiera was going to be his personal cuddle buddy and he spent many many hours last week either sleeping on her lap or cuddled up in her arms just watching her. It was so cute! Of course Rachel got to have some time with her cousin too - when little Mr. Dean would allow it. ;-)
Dawn proved to us all that the "Dawn Dance" is still a great way to calm down babies. She was so on top of it and even took the night feedings so I could get lots of sleep. By the end of the week she had feeding two babies at the same time down pat! (Excuse Rachel in the middle of her stretch...not the most flattering picture of her.
Last weekend we also got to see some of Mark's family. So it was a full house and there was always a kid that needed something, but it was great! Mark's sister Mary Susan came up from Dallas with her husband Tim and kids Alli & Parker. Parker slept in Rachel's crib since the twins are still sharing Dean's, so it was their first cousin sleep-over ;-). Mark's brother Brady also drove up with the Jenkins to visit, so now the twins have met 1/2 of their Daddy's siblings.
We love having family and friends visit our cute little corner of Arkansas. If you're on your way across the middle of the country please stop by! We've got lots of room for blow-up mattresses and even more love to share!
PS: The twins have been home for 2 months now and are almost 3 months old. Here are a few up-to-date pictures.

Again Dawn & Kiera went above and beyond because on Saturday night they baby sat all 4 kids and sent the Smallwood gang out for a night on the town. Mini-golf, Laser Tag (our team blew the other out of the water), and Arcade Games followed by frozen custard made it the most enjoyable night Mark and I have had in a long time! Thanks again ladies!

I could just look at these pictures over and over! It's no wonder you keep getting visitors! I want to just pack up and come see you myself!! They are changing so quickly and I love seeing their little features look more like mark and you :)
They are so adorable Jill! I would love to meet and cuddle them in person before they get any bigger! I am loving their brown eyes (they're both brown, right?)
Dean has Brown eyes just like his daddy. Rachel's are still unknown. Sometimes they look like they are going brown other days they look green, so I'm wondering if they'll be hazel like mine.
