Why is my fall stuff still out?

As I tried to get some stuff cleaned up around my wreck of a house I had to work around a pile of Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas decorations.  Why is my fall stuff still out?!?  I can understand having my Christmas boxes out, I'll use them again soon anyway, but really Jill---fall!  I'm already trying to convince myself it'd be okay to climb up the attic ladder to get out New Years stuff for neighbors, and I still have my Halloween wreath sitting in the hall.  This is crazy!  The tree is up, stockings have been hung with care, Mark's Christmas village is coming to life every night, but if you look around the corner you're assaulted with pumpkins.  Can someone please slow time down for the next 4 or 5 days?  I need time to get my house in order before Christmas and ideally get some holiday projects done before it's too late!  I won't even attempt to do all the laundry or dust the blinds before the holiday gets here, but a clean kitchen would be nice and room to walk in the hall would be even better!


Tell me I'm not the only person who isn't getting their To Do List done the way they wanted to this season!  I guess I'm gonna have to start blaming the twins for messes before they're even born. ;-) Darn those two little darling miracles...they're sucking out all my energy! ;-)
