Daytona Beach

This weekend Mark took me to Daytona Beach.  It was great!  I'm sure you can imagine that all this IVF stuff is quite stressful for both of us, so he busted out his romantic side and arranged a long weekend away.  We flew out Friday evening and spent Saturday and Sunday doing nothing but chillaxing.  Daytona happened to have an airshow going on so as we hung out on the beach and pool deck we were semi-entertained with fly-overs and aerial stunts.  In the evenings we ate seafood on the pier, drove down to the lighthouse, played mini-golf, and caught a movie. We didn't worry about going to bed early, getting up early, scheduling anything (except my shots), or feel much responsibility to anyone.   It was VERY relaxing.

Monday I caught a flight home.  Mark is staying in Orlando for an extra day to help Walmart shoot a commercial, but he'll be home tonight.  It's hard to get back into the swing of things, but I'm still glad we got to go!

Good man. Sounds wonderful. What a great way to distress and take advantage of the time you two have together. Good luck with IVF. I have been thinking of you.

Sounds like a great weekend! I could use one of those! My sister in law did IVF and now she's pregnant with twins!!! Can't wait to read about your journey!
