Example #1. When my Mother-in-law found out that roast beef with mashed potatoes was my favorite meal she prepared a special dinner just for me last Sunday!
Example #2: Monday was my birthday. It was also a very long day, because the school Science Fair was that night. Since I am on the Science Committee at school it was my job to help set up, participate, and take down the event. This meant that I was scheduled to be at school from 8am to 9pm. After the kids left I started passing out the participant certificates I created, then I planned on running to the grocery store for a deli dinner. I laughed as I pictured myself eating alone instead of at a big party like last year - I think I was realizing that I am 25 and I am at (and beyond) the point where I get to have "big kid" birthdays. All of a sudden someone started banging on the back door. "I can't believe someone is banging on the door an hour before the fair even starts!" I thought as
I laid down one certificate and walked to the door reading the next one. Lo and behold it wasn't just anyone it was my thoughtful and handsome husband bring me a real dinner. So SWEET of him! Not only did a get a delicious meal that night, but I still got to have dinner with the love of my life!

I feel so blessed and lucky to have that many people take time out of their day to help make mine better!
Example #4: Among all the thoughtful texts I got on Monday my best friend, Talise, sent me one that said "J---HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I hope you had someone make YOU an awesome birthday cake!" I responded with "Hahaha no birthday cake today. I have to work until nine for the
school science fair, but Thank You!!!" We chatted and then I told her about the awesome thing Mark did to replace the traditional birthday dinner and cake thing.
Then today I got called down to the office to "sign for something." I couldn't figure out what it could be, but it ended up being an amazing birthday cake from Talise. She also had the wonderful bakeshop/cafe deliver 6 cookies and a cookie cake in addition to this 6 inch-three layer piece of heaven ...so yummy!!! I can't believe that she would figure out how to get me a cake for my birthday when she was literally 1237 miles away!

I could come up with 100 more ways that I am blessed, but right now I am feeling extra super lucky to be surrounded by amazing people who are willing to do wonderful things! I don't think any other girl has as many great friends and family members, such an awesome best friend, or such a superb husband. Thanks y'all!!!
