Go Easley Eagles

A few Monday's ago was Spirit Day at Easley Elementary. The Friday before, a teacher's assistant suggested I bring another one of my "breakfasts" to school Monday. I didn't think much of it until I was bored Sunday evening. I experimented with dying white cake, and I choose purple since that is one of our school colors. I then baked a yellow cake, cut them in half, put them back together in a different order, and covered it with a very simple icing job in white. It didn't look like anything special until the Special Education Teacher took the first slice. Ta-Da!

No big news here. Mark starts school in a few weeks, and I start my first break a few weeks after that. We want to go to the beach this year still but haven't figured out a time when it fits both our schedules. My best friend from college has moved to Florida (still far away, but a lot closer than Spanish Fork, UT) so I may plan a trip to Sunny Florida over my break. Well I guess that's it until something exciting comes up.

FUN! Wish I was close enough to visit Kristi in Florida as well! Give her lots of loves for me when you see her!
