Yippee.... my computer is back with me!!! Today I finally got my computer back from the Geek Squad, so now I can in add a new post. :-)

Tonight we went to the Dent's home to carve pumpkins. It was a lot of fun. There were 3 1/2 couples that carved pumpkins (one girl came w/out a husband). Mark and I each got a pumpkin of our own. Mark carved an
awesome skull, while I tried my luck on a spider. It was a lot of fun and everyone's pumpkins turned out great!
awesome skull, while I tried my luck on a spider. It was a lot of fun and everyone's pumpkins turned out great! This weekend Mark and I went to Wilmington and spent the weekend with his dad, step-mom, step-sister, and nephew. It was a great weekend get away. We slept in, played with Trevor outside, went window shopping in the mall, went to the beach, and watched a the new Journey to the Center of the Earth in 3D.
Once we got to the beach we paid a dollar each to walk out on the pier in Surf City. There were tons of fishers on the pier, but the waves were huge! I brought the camera with us, but it didn't have the SD card in it. We took some pictures with Gene's camera but didn't have anyway to get them home. As soon as we get the pictures I will update this post with some of those.
One sad thing happened this weekend. As we were on the way to the mall I looked down at my wedding ring and noticed that one of my diamonds was missing. My ring has a princess cut diamond in the middle with 3 channel set round diamonds on each side. One of the larger round diamonds fell out sometime Saturday morning. I called Wilson Diamonds as soon as I saw it was missing. They basically told me that I needed to mail my ring to them and they would see what they could do for me. I really really hope that my lifetime warranty will hold up and they will replace it for free!

You two carved the best pumpkins!
I hope your ring is fixed. That's terrible!

That's awful about your ring! I bet they'll replace the diamond though. The pumpkins and the trip sound like fun!

Dennis here, I hope they fix your ring, but I had a bad experience that so called 'lifetime' warranty. It wasn't Wilson's, but Zales had a special clause in the warranty that says you have to bring it in every year to check the diamonds. Yeah, right! Like I'm going to remember that every year. Once you forget one year, that's it, the end of 'lifetime'. Luckily for use, somehow we found the diamond and paid to have it reset. It wasn't Tarin's wedding ring, but a nice ring that I had bought two years prior. Good luck.
Your pumpkins put another pumpkin on another blog to shame! And the other pumpkin-carver is the one in the family with artistic talent! Good job. I'm glad you are learning something at Duke, Mark!
