At the games each section competed against each other in random games like the briefcase toss, tug of war, 5 K run, dizzy bat, etc... Mark was put on the tug of war team (due to the fact that he is one of the tallest and for sure one of the strongest). His team did really well. The only thing that made them lose was that the guy in Mark's place in section 6 had cleats on, and the guy in front of Mark in section 4 kept slipping and falling down which would
then tug Mark forward. But he did put up a good fight, and his team won 3 rounds before coming up against section 6! That's my baby!!!
then tug Mark forward. But he did put up a good fight, and his team won 3 rounds before coming up against section 6! That's my baby!!! I was right there taking pictures among all the MBA students and when Mark won a really good fight I wanted to go give him a kiss, but he was rushed and it literally took me 2-3 minutes before I could get to him. I think the "team bonding" idea of these games turned out as planned since I couldn't even get to my husband without being pushed around by people in green t-shirts. It was all in good fun though! I am glad that Mark seems to be in a good section. Everyone that I have met in section 4 is really nice and seems very open to forming friendships.
After the outdoor games everyone went back to the Fuqua building for a Dance Off and to announce the winners of the competition. Mark's section came in second place by only 2 points. So it was really close!
