Happy Thanksgiving & Feliz Navidad

It was a most excellent Thanksgiving this year!  The DeYoung's came to Arkansas so we cooked a grand feast, played our own little turkey bowl, decorated place mats, and enjoyed each others company.  The kids did not enjoy the mashed potatoes, but the bread and green beans were a big hit!

We opened the Christmas season on a train ride with Santa himself!  We went with our friends and our Arkansas family.   We sang carols, drank hot chocolate, and played games at the fair outside the train station.

We spent Christmas in Virginia.  The twins LOVED meeting their newest cousin McCoy or "aCoy" as they called him.  We even lucked out that all 3 little ones matched on Christmas morning!  How cute are all those little elves?!

The kids also enjoyed feeding the horses on Grandma & Papa's road, making sugar cookies with Grandma & Uncle Mike.  Going to Aunt Paulette & Grandma Mom's animal shelter.

They were 100% spoiled on Christmas.  Rachel had asked Santa for a "baby bed" and dean asked for "presents" and they both asked for a book.  They both got what they wanted.  Rachel got her cradle and dean got a car transporter truck.  They both also got a big story book along with much much more!  It was a very Merry Christmas for our family!
