Grandma & Grandpa DeYoung Visits and We All Get Sick

I had great plans of all I was going to do when my mom came to visit.  The most fun things got done on day one.  Then Rachel got sick on Thursday.  What's worse than having a sick baby who can't keep any food down?  Well let's see....how about 1 baby who can't keep food down, her twin having problems on the other end of things, and the 2 care-givers getting sick themselves?  Yeah that would qualify as worse!  By Friday morning Mom, Dean, and I were sick too.
Luckily Daddy and Grandpa swooped in from their business trips to save the day!  While the ladies laid around like zombies, the men fed, diapered, laundered, played, diapered, laundered, cuddled, diapered, and cleaned until the Moms got feeling better.  It wasn't how we had planned to spend the weekend with Grandma and Grandpa DeYoung, but boy am I glad they were here to help!
By Sunday we were all feeling better (for the most part) and Grandma and Grandpa had to head home.  That means back to life as usual.  We weren't forced to decide if we should take the kids to church because it snowed a couple inches Sunday morning.  Here that means an almost total shut-down.  So we stayed cozy and warm and just let things rest for another day.  Hopefully we won't be dealing with another weekend like that for a long time!
