Mini-Me & Mini-He?

We hear all the time that Rachel looks like Mom and Dean looks like Dad.

I'm not sure how old Mark and I were in those pictures, but they looked close to the right age.  I don't know about mini-me and mini-he, but I guess they must look a little bit like us because my parents swear Rachel is a Jill clone and Mark's aunt & mom swear he is a Mark clone.
Foggy memories or right on the dot?

Dean finally hit sleeping through the night this week.  We put both babies down around 8 pm and Dean doesn't wake up until around 5:30 am.  After a bottle he goes back down until around 8 am.  It would be fabulous except Rachel isn't following her brother's schedule.  She wakes up around 2:30 am and then again at 5:30 am and 7:30 am.  I told Mark last night that once she also hits 15 lbs and 7 oz bottles I'm gonna do some serious sleep training with her (Dean already sleeps through all her crying at night and naps, so it won't bother him).  15 lbs and 7 oz seemed to be magic numbers for Dean so hopefully they will be magic for her too!  I get a lot of friends and books telling me to sleep train at 4 months, but the whole preemie thing is throwing me off.  Yes they are 4 months, but they're only 3 months adjusted.  Sleeping, eating, rolling over, teething...everything is a little more flexible with preemies so I hate to push things too soon, but don't want to wait too long either.  Whew..being a mom requires almost as many life changing decisions in a day as being a teacher did!

I don't think Dean looks like Mark did when he was a baby, but he looks like Mark now. (No, Mark, Dean doesn't look like a 30 year-old man, but I can tell he is your son.)

And yes, Jill, Rachel is a little you.

Rachel looks like you. Thought that from day one. And well, she is just dang adorable to boot.
Don't know about Dean. Quite the cutie--but I'd have to see more pictures...
Oh sleep training, how I miss those days. NOT. Good luck. Every kid is different--really. And every parent is different and parents differently.
