Sharing a Few Pictures

Today we'd just like to share a few pictures with our family and friends:

This is the picture the embryologist gave me of our day-5 embryos on IVF Transfer Day - September 24th.  We prayed that at least one of them would "stick".

6 week ultrasound - October 18th

8 week ultrasound - yesterday

So far so good!  We've been able to see and hear both heartbeats at both ultrasounds.  The heartbeats are right on target and the babies are growing well.  We know we're not out of the woods yet since it's still early in the pregnancy.  Our biggest fear is losing one or both of the twins, but I'm still on supplemental progesterone for 2 more weeks, which should help our cause.  We go back for a 10 week ultrasound on the 15th and if everything still looks good I'll stop taking progesterone and be transferred back to Bentonville for "normal" pregnancy monitoring.  However, since we've been sharing the journey we figured it's only fair that we share the good news with everyone too. ;-)  We're very thankful for the many prayers that have been sent our way and continue to pray that both babies will stay healthy & continue to grow!
