The house is officially under contract! The offer was accepted, the inspection is satisfactory, the appraisal was great, and the bank is sending papers to be signed. We close in only ONEMONTH. Now I get to play with paint colors! Since it is basically ours now I feel much more comfortable posting pictures of our future home. Here are some pictures taken in the house before the previous owner got kicked out.

Unfortunately when the owner left someone filled the holes left behind in the wall without matching the paint color, so almost every room needs some touch up work. We hope to tear out some of the carpet and add extra hardwood floors or tile in the hall so the carpet won't wear out as quickly between the front doors and the bedrooms. Eventually we would like to add granite to the counter-tops in the bathrooms and kitchen, a deck in the backyard, and a few other improvements. We are both getting very excited and can't wait to have our own house!
