Utah & Newspaper

Last week Mark and I totally enjoyed a trip to my parent's home in Utah. We were a little leery of the weather when we arrived b/c we were facing a rainy forecast all week. Fortunately for us the weather cleared enough so we could spend a few days at the pool, go ATVing, visit Park City to shop & go on the Alpine Slide. We also got to visit my college friends Val & Kristi along with my best friend from High School Talise. I finally got to meet my new niece Ali and we went to dinner with Mary Susan & Tim. Mark got to hang out with his High School friend Brandon, who also joined us for dinner. It was very fun and the time passed to quickly!!!

Now we are home and back to work. Yesterday I joined the Mommies Club at the pool and got to chill with the Empey twins. I continued to keep busy helping a friend organize and pack for her move to CA, cooking dinner, and cleaning part of the house.

Today I really needed to start working on the Humane Society Newspaper project I started last summer when I thought I wouldn't have a job in the fall. Once school started the tub got put in the spare bedroom and I haven't touched it since October. I made great progress today (in part due to the fact that Gizmo had a drop-off vet appointment). I have almost finished cutting out the tub full of articles and have actually glued a few articles onto paper. It's looking like I can finish it with time to spare this summer!
