We Need Rain to Clean Away the Pollen!

This week has been beautiful! Every day has been in the 80's and sunny... wonderful spring break weather! However when you combine beautiful weather like that and hundreds of blooming trees you get Pollen GALORE! My allergies have been totally going crazy. To show people in the Western states what pollen can really look like in a state that is mostly forest I took a picture of a car that hasn't been washed this week. The next picture is my hand after writing the wonderful Wash Me! message for the owner. Now we just need the rain that Mark is predicting will come tonight...maybe it will wash away the pollen so I can stop sneezing!

You must be getting bored of seeing my cakes week after week, but I am going to post another simply because I want to! This cake is going to a party for those celebrating Lily's 1st birthday this weekend in Danville. The butterflies are made from melted chocolate so the whole thing is yummy!

I have already planned to make cupcakes with those butterflies on them for Ali's first birthday, but with pink. They look good.

Wow! They're beautiful! I'm looking forward to seeing them. Since I'm a vegetarian, I'll need to think about eating them. (That's supposed to be a joke; I'm not that over the edge. Most of the time.)
