Mark's Birthday

My hubby had his 27th birthday this week, and it was truly a whole week of celebration!

We had a birthday party in UT on the 8th. Twenty-five friends and family members sang happy birthday to Mark and shared two cakes I created that day (one remembering Hawaii & one as a tribute to his spider silk company). We spent the evening at my parents home catching up with everyone. It was wonderful to see everyone again!

Sunday the 10th we had a small family party at Susan's home. Susan served a ding-dong cake which is a recipe that I totally need to try, because it was SO good.

Tuesday was Mark's actual birthday, so we went to dinner with his Mom and Evelyn. We finished that night with ice cream at home as we watched his new Brian Regan DVD (which made everyone bust out laughing way too many times to count). I think Mark had a good birthday week and he says he doesn't feel any older, so maybe the fun can continue even though he is becoming OLD ;-)
