Sunday the first thing Mark and I did was go out and play in the snow. We each made a Snow Angel and had fun tromping around in the foot high accumulation.
Monday we went to the museum in SLC to see Body Worlds. I saw it a few years ago in MN, but the rest of the family had never been to the exhibit. It is very interesting to see how our bodies are arranged under the skin. I think my favorite part of the exhibit was the pregnancy section. They had taken fertilized egg to begin with, then showed the way the baby grows with examples from every couple weeks. I was amazed to realize that the baby is nearly fully formed at 9 weeks. the itty-bitty baby was only the size of a bean but you could see its fingers, eyes, nose, toes, and ears.
On Tuesday Dad, Curtis, Mark, and I spent the day enjoying the skiing at Snowbasin. Mark and I only get to ski a couple times a year so it is always fun to spend a day with family at a resort. Both of us were sore for days after the adventure though!
Wednesday we went to see our nieces in Lehi. They are growing so fast. I just can't believe how much Claire was talking and how much the other 3 had grown over just 6 months. That night my best friend Kristi came over with her boyfriend Danny. Later Andrea (freshman roommate) and Dave came over with Megan's husband Andy. We watched a movie, played games, and rang in the New Year.
