I was looking forward to the weekend for quite a while. Friday a bunch of ladies from a ward went to the movie Twilight. It is the movie for the first book in the Twilight series by Stephanie Meyers. I had heard some bad reviews, but I thought they did a good job! There were easily 15 people at the movie in our group and it was great to have a girls night out!
Saturday night was the BYU vs Utah game. A large group of 20+ people (including Michael and some of his friends) showed up at Champs ready for our room. However, the restaurant had lost our reservation so we had to wait for almost 45 minutes for them to get a table together. When we finally got a seat all was well. Fuqua's LDSSA (student group for members at Duke business school) ordered appetizers for the group. Mark and I each ordered dinner and we hung out for 3+ hours while we watched the Utes beat our team for the first time in 3 years.
It was a fun weekend and even though the cougars lost I am glad we spent the weekend with our friends just enjoying being a young married couple!
